چکیده مقاله
Lithium-ion batteries have a well-known market because the transportable power supply for digital photography, electric powered cars, mobiles and other electronic devices. The performance of LIBs is encouraged via both the electrode material and the electrolyte. Electron-conductive and ion-conductive polymeric materials have found application for preparation of both electrodes and electrolytes. Different polymeric materials with intrinsic ionic conductivity and film formation ability, such as poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF), poly(vinylidene fluoride hexa fluoropropylene) (PVDF-HFP), poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO), poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA), poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC), natural polymers and etc. were used as the polymeric host for preparation of nanocomposite gel polymer electrolytes (NCGPE). On the other hand, conductive polymers such as polythiophene (PEDOT), polyaniline (PANI), and polypyrrole (PPy) have extended pi-electron structures and thus can facilitate the electrochemical performance of electrodes. In this review, we have aimed to investigate and discuss the role of ion-conductive and electron-conductive polymers in the progress of Lithium-ion batteries technology.
