چکیده مقاله |
In this study, titanium dioxide-graphene hybrid was synthesized using an easy, low-cost hydrothermal method. In this research, graphene, having a two-dimensional structure, unique electrical conductivity and high specific surface area, was added to TiO2 nanoparticles. The hybrid product can be used as the supercapacitor electrode. The microstructure, morphology and composition of the synthesized material were characterized by X-ray diffraction, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, Raman microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy. Also, electrochemical behavior and supercapacitance properties were measured using a three-electrode setup by CV, GCD and EIS tests. It was revealed that the specific capacitance of the TiO2-rGO nanocomposite reached 248 F/g at 2 A/g in 1 M H2SO4. TiO2-rGO exhibited a better performance than the pure TiO2 NPs in terms of rate capability, energy density and power density. The better performance of TiO2-rGO is attributed to the better charge transport property and large area of contact with the rGO nanosheet. Therefore, TiO2-graphene hybrid can be considered as a suitable option as electrode material in energy storage devices. |
