For the development of sustainable hydrogen economy, the best source of its production is the use of methanol, especially in our country, methanol is produced as a by-product at a very reasonable price, and the country needs its optimal consumption. Hydrogen, as the only element in the world with high energy density and energy carrier, is environmentally friendly and will play a key role in the world's energy future in the near future. Because hydrogen is very light and flammable and causes brittleness in metals, currently its storage and transportation is very expensive and energy consuming. In this article, the use of renewable methods for the production of methanol is mentioned. Hydrogen production from the conversion of methanol with water vapor, using a solar reactor, produces green hydrogen, which is suitable for use in fuel cells. Also, the use of solar reactor for direct production of hydrogen from renewable methanol in balanced temperature and pressure conditions and its immediate consumption in cars, in a controlled and gradual manner, is the most suitable method to reduce the cost of hydrogen production. |
